Children's Dental Health Month Fact #5

When it comes to tooth brushing, it is important for children to develop a routine and stick to it. If you make brushing their teeth for 2 minutes a day twice a day seem like fun, they are more likely to do it AND continue to brush regularly! Tooth brushing charts help them to track when they brush their teeth, and can be accompanied by prizes once their chart is full for the week or month! Another fun trick is to play your child's favorite song and have a two minute dance party while they brush. There are also a number of brushing apps or you can use YouTube videos to time brushing. 2minx2.com has fun videos for younger children! Make brushing fun and your child will learn to enjoy those 4 minutes of their day!
